Passing of Golden Eagle Widow Rita Knott
 

It is my very sad duty to report the passing of Rita Knott, Widow of Golden Eagle CAPT Zebulon V. “Zeb” KNOTT Jr., USN (Ret), on 1 September 2025 in Altoona, PA.
 
Zeb and Rita met in 1965, married in 1970, and enjoyed 47 years of marriage before Zeb passed in June 2017. Services are being planned for Rita in the coming weeks, with further plans being made for burial with Zeb in Arlington National Cemetery at a future date. When known those details will be provided in another Special Notice.
