Golden Eagle MajGen Charles F. BOLDEN Jr., USMC (Ret)
Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame Induction
 

The Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society (VAHS) Board of Directors has selected Golden Eagle MajGen Charles F. BOLDEN Jr., USMC (Ret), for recognition and induction into the Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame for his dedicated service and significant contributions to Aviation.
 
The Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame was created by VAHS to commemorate and preserve outstanding aviation contributions made in Virginia or by Virginians. Many individual efforts have resulted in the pioneering, growth, or development of aviation and aerospace and must be recorded for future generations. Each year, the VAHS Board of Directors selects one or more individuals for recognition and induction into the Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame.
 
Golden Eagles who have been previously inducted into the Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame include: RADM Robert H. SHUMAKER (2024), Col Ronald L. GATEWOOD (2018), Gen John R. DAILEY (2008), and VADM Donald ENGEN (1987).
 
The Annual Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony is planned for 11 October 2025 at 5:45 p.m. at the Ford’s Colony Country Club, Williamsburg, VA. Please contact NE Flight Lead, Larry OUTLAW (outlawld@aol.com), by 15 September if you would like to attend.
